Thank You for Making Community Safety Day a Success!

A big shout out to our residents and other visitors, exhibitors, township staff and volunteers for making this year’s Middleton Township Community Safety Day a rousing success! We enjoyed gorgeous weather and record attendance as participants experienced life-saving demonstrations by dedicated members of your Middleton Township fire and EMS departments and engaged with local first-response, law enforcement, emergency management, wellness and municipal power professionals and many other exhibitors. Plus, there was plenty of fun for children of all ages in the form of interactive displays and demonstrations, bounce houses, face painting and other kid-friendly activities. Be sure to mark your calendars for September 16, 2023, and plan to join us next year!

Both of these veteran first responders have exhibited extraordinary leadership and emergency medical skills in the many years they have served Middleton Township and surrounding communities ‒ Saunders, for nearly 27 years, and Bogedain, 23 years. They were officially promoted by the township Board of Trustees in late 2021 and have been serving in their respective positions since that time.
